Slot

Enum Slot

Source
pub enum Slot {
    Leaf {
        name: String,
        default: NodeType,
        optional: bool,
        absent_by_default: bool,
    },
    Record {
        key: String,
        optional: bool,
        default: Option<RecordNode>,
    },
}
Expand description

A child slot of a record group.

Variants§

§

Leaf

A leaf value.

Fields

§name: String

Field name (see the module docs).

§default: NodeType

Most common value, with its encoding.

§optional: bool

The leaf isn’t in every instance.

§absent_by_default: bool

The optional leaf is missing in most instances, so it starts out of a built record until it’s set.

§

Record

A child record.

Fields

§key: String

Key of the child in the path (record name plus occurrence suffix).

§optional: bool

The record isn’t in every instance.

§default: Option<RecordNode>

Most common content of the record in this slot, for small records whose content depends on the slot (like repeated records numbered by position). None uses the default record of the child’s path.
