BattleTreeItem

Struct BattleTreeItem

Source
pub struct BattleTreeItem { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Individual tree instance with position, rotation, and scale.

Represents a single tree placed on the battle map with its transform data. The rotation is compressed into a single byte representing Y-axis rotation.

§Fields

  • id - Unique identifier for this tree instance
  • x - X coordinate in world space
  • y - Y coordinate in world space (height)
  • z - Z coordinate in world space
  • rotation - Y-axis rotation compressed to 0-255 range (multiply by 1.40625 to get degrees)
  • scale - Uniform scale factor applied to all axes
  • flags - Behavior flags for this tree instance

§Examples

ⓘ
let tree = BattleTreeItem {
    id: 0x1609e7e52919a40,
    x: -22.92,
    y: 58.75,
    z: -3.01,
    rotation: 72,  // ~102 degrees when converted
    scale: 1.0,
    flags: 3,
};

Implementations§

Source§

impl BattleTreeItem

Source

pub fn id(&self) -> &u64

Unique identifier for this tree instance.

Source

pub fn x(&self) -> &f32

X coordinate in world space.

Source

pub fn y(&self) -> &f32

Y coordinate in world space (height).

Source

pub fn z(&self) -> &f32

Z coordinate in world space.

Source

pub fn rotation(&self) -> &u8

Y-axis rotation (0-255 maps to 0-360 degrees). Version 4 only.

To convert to degrees: rotation as f32 * 1.40625

Source

pub fn scale(&self) -> &f32

Uniform scale factor. In versions 1 to 3 it is stored as a byte, 127 being 1.0.

Source

pub fn flags(&self) -> &u8

Behavior flags for this tree instance. In versions 1 to 3 the byte is the tree’s is_freeform: 1 keeps the stored height, 0 puts the tree on the terrain.

Source

pub fn is_burnable(&self) -> &u8

Version 2 only: whether the tree can burn. Always 1 in Attila.

Source§

impl BattleTreeItem

Source

pub fn id_mut(&mut self) -> &mut u64

Unique identifier for this tree instance.

Source

pub fn x_mut(&mut self) -> &mut f32

X coordinate in world space.

Source

pub fn y_mut(&mut self) -> &mut f32

Y coordinate in world space (height).

Source

pub fn z_mut(&mut self) -> &mut f32

Z coordinate in world space.

Source

pub fn rotation_mut(&mut self) -> &mut u8

Y-axis rotation (0-255 maps to 0-360 degrees). Version 4 only.

To convert to degrees: rotation as f32 * 1.40625

Source

pub fn scale_mut(&mut self) -> &mut f32

Uniform scale factor. In versions 1 to 3 it is stored as a byte, 127 being 1.0.

Z coordinate in world space.

Source

pub fn set_rotation(&mut self, val: u8) -> &mut Self

Y-axis rotation (0-255 maps to 0-360 degrees). Version 4 only.

To convert to degrees: rotation as f32 * 1.40625

Source

pub fn set_scale(&mut self, val: f32) -> &mut Self

Uniform scale factor. In versions 1 to 3 it is stored as a byte, 127 being 1.0.

Source

pub fn set_flags(&mut self, val: u8) -> &mut Self

Behavior flags for this tree instance. In versions 1 to 3 the byte is the tree’s is_freeform: 1 keeps the stored height, 0 puts the tree on the terrain.
